Cover of the February–March, 2000, issue of the Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients

Dr. Kunin discusses the topic of "alternative" medicine, stating that the core of any treatment method should be the focus on nutrition—so important that it should come first in primary care, for without proper nutrition, the body cannot replace or rebalance the molecules that serve the body's adaptive systems, nor revitalize its depleted tissues. Also discussed is how orthomolecular medicine and nutrition can treat effects of pollution and stress on the body.
